he next HF Night will be May 16th at 7:00 PM at the normal place, my home in Northern San Benito County.

This months topic will be: What is you best mobile operating practices whether operating QRP from a mountain top or operating mobile from a vehicle, what can you share?

We would like to focus on what equipment do you carry, what is in your “Go-bag”, portable antenna masts, portable antenna’s, what portable HF unit do you use, what is your favorite VHF and UHF unit? Let’s look at operating principles that we can learn from the ARRL book “Portable Operating for Amateur Radio” written by Stuart Thomas, KB1WQS.
